Kingfisher Blinds

Kingfisher Blinds Limited Established in 1985 by Vic & Marion King. The Initial aim of the business was to provide window blinds and awnings to the commercial sector.After a short while Kingfisher had secured contracts with local & National companies as well as local authorities. These include schools, colleges, hospitals , NHS trusts as well as Blue chip companies.

over the next 14 years kingfisher blinds became renown for there Quality products and excellent service. As more and more customers sought to buy blinds and awnings from us , it was decided that we should service the growing domestic market as the trend for blinds was aparant and in 1999 we opened our first Showroom in Ashford Kent. The response to this move was overwhelming and we quickly became the first choice for blinds in South Kent.

In February 2005 , we decided we would advertise our products and services for the first time since our formation. We began our campain with local newspapers through out Kent, the response was immediate ,this meant we had to increase our staff numbers to meet demand.

2006 we carried out our first Radio Advertising campaign which proved very usefull and now in 2007 increased this campaign through KMFM radio Ashford. 

At first Vic was worried that the quality and service might suffer, he need not have worried as under his watch full eye he was able to control the right people.

Plans for further expansion over the next 2 years will include staff numbers and showrooms.
